Terms of Use — Little Explorers
Last updated 6 October 2026
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and HorizonGames (Horizon Games Co.) — a trading name of Ankit Jain (sole proprietor), New Delhi, India (“we”, “us”, “our”) — for the use of Little Explorers: Kids Learning (the “App”) on Android and iOS.
The App is made for children aged 2 to 12. These Terms are accepted by the parent or legal guardian who installs the App or allows a child to use it, on the child’s behalf. By downloading or using the App you agree to these Terms and to the Little Explorers Privacy Policy.
1. Who the App is for
The App is designed for children under 13 to use, ideally with a parent or carer nearby. Settings and purchases are intended for adults and sit behind a parental gate. Please keep purchase approval switched on in your device or store settings if other people use the device.
2. No accounts
The App has no accounts, sign-in, chat or way for children to share content with others. Anything typed into the App (such as a child’s first name) and any progress or paintings stay on the device, as described in the Privacy Policy.
3. Licence
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the App on devices you own or control, for your family’s own non-commercial use, subject to these Terms and the rules of the store you downloaded it from. We and our licensors keep all rights in the App, including its code, art, characters, music and trademarks. This is a licence, not a sale. Some art, sounds, music and fonts are used under open licences (CC0, SIL Open Font License, Apache 2.0) as credited in the App.
4. Purchases and refunds
- The App offers one optional, one-time, non-consumable purchase per platform: “Remove ads” on Android and “Unlock all games” on iOS. There are no subscriptions and no virtual currency.
- Purchases are sold and processed by Google Play or the Apple App Store and are subject to their terms. We never receive your payment-card details.
- A purchase is tied to the store account that made it and can be restored on other devices using the same account with “Restore purchases”. On iOS, “Unlock all games” is also available to the members of your Apple Family Sharing group.
- Refunds are handled by Google or Apple under their refund policies. Contact us if you need help.
- Prices are set in the store and may vary by country or change in future; the price shown in the store at the time of purchase applies.
5. Advertising (Android)
The free Android version may show occasional child-directed, non-personalised ads from Google AdMob when a child leaves a game, as described in the Privacy Policy. The iOS version shows no ads.
6. Acceptable use
Please don’t copy, modify, reverse-engineer, resell or redistribute the App or its content, tamper with purchases, or use the App for any unlawful purpose.
7. Educational content
We work hard to make the App’s content accurate and age-appropriate, but it is a game meant to support — not replace — a child’s learning at home and at school. If you spot a mistake, please tell us.
8. Updates and availability
We may update, change or discontinue the App or any feature at any time, and we do not guarantee that the App will always be available or error-free. Progress is stored only on the device and can be lost if the App is uninstalled or the device is reset or replaced.
9. Disclaimers
The App is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, HorizonGames (Ankit Jain) will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of data or progress, arising from use of the App. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to the greater of the amount you paid for the in-app purchase or USD 50. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer-protection law in your country.
11. Apple App Store (iOS)
If you download the App from the Apple App Store, these Terms are between you and HorizonGames only — not Apple — and Apple is not responsible for the App or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for the App. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. You confirm you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo and are not on any U.S. Government restricted-parties list, and you agree to comply with the App Store Terms of Service, including Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement where it applies.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts of New Delhi, India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have in your country of residence.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use of the App after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
