This Privacy Policy explains how HorizonGames ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you play Mini Farm (the "Game") on Android and iOS.
By playing the Game, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.
Information We Collect
We collect only what's needed to run the Game, save your progress, enable social and competitive features, show ads, and process purchases. We do not use third-party analytics or crash-reporting tools, we do not fingerprint your device, and we do not build advertising profiles about you ourselves.
Account & sign-in data
- On first launch, an anonymous account identifier is created automatically so your game can save to the cloud — you can play without ever signing up.
- If you create a HorizonGames account, we collect your email address. Sign-in is passwordless: we email you a 6-digit one-time code. Your verified email is stored with your account; the login codes and rate-limit records are kept only as a salted, irreversible hash along with the request's IP address, are used solely to send the code and prevent abuse, and expire within minutes.
- Your HorizonGames account is shared across HorizonGames games, so signing in once can carry your identity to our other titles.
Gameplay & save data
- Your full farm progress — level, XP, gold, premium-currency balance, buildings, plots, animals, items, cards, achievements, settings, and gameplay statistics (such as crops harvested, customers served, days played, and total play time). Stored in the cloud so it isn't lost between devices or reinstalls.
Profile & social data (only if you create an account)
- A farmer name you choose (auto-generated; you can edit it), your level, your chosen avatar / character look, your achievements, and a few profile stats. This information is public to other players through the global leaderboard, friend profiles, friend farm visits, and the raid ("visit a stranger's farm") feature.
- Friend connections you make in the Game.
- A snapshot (copy) of your farm's current state, stored so friends can visit it and other players (level 5 and above) can raid it. Raids are copy-only — nothing is ever removed from your farm — and the raider's identity is not shown to you.
Purchase data
- When you buy in-app items, the purchase is processed by Google Play Billing (Android) or the Apple App Store (iOS). We receive a confirmation/receipt (product, transaction ID, store, amount, time) to grant your items and prevent fraud. We never receive or store your credit/debit card or full payment details — those are handled entirely by Google or Apple.
Advertising data
- The Game shows rewarded video ads via Google AdMob and its mediation partners. These services may use a device advertising identifier and related data to serve and measure ads (personalized or non-personalized, depending on your consent).
Technical data
- Your IP address (used to send sign-in codes and to rate-limit / prevent abuse) and the app version. Google, Apple, and the ad provider may also collect device information (model, operating system, language) under their own policies.
How We Use Information
- To provide and save your game progress across sessions and devices.
- To operate social and competitive features (friend visits, restock gifts, raids, leaderboards).
- To verify sign-in codes and prevent abuse and fraud.
- To process and deliver in-app purchases.
- To display and measure advertising.
- To keep the Game working and improve it.

The Game relies on trusted third-party services that may process data as described in their own privacy policies:
Advertising & Your Choices
- On first launch, where required (e.g. in the EEA/UK), you'll be asked for consent about personalized advertising.
- You can limit ad personalization at any time through your device settings ("Reset advertising ID" / "Opt out of Ads Personalization" on Android; "Limit Ad Tracking" / App Tracking Transparency on iOS).
Your Public Profile & Social Play
Social and competitive features are optional and only apply once you create an account. If you never register, you have no public presence.
When registered, your farmer name, level, avatar, achievements and profile stats are visible to other players, and a snapshot of your farm can be visited by friends and raided by other players (level 5 and above). Raids never remove anything from your farm. There is no open chat or free-text messaging in the Game — the only text you author that others can see is your farmer name.
Children's Privacy
Mini Farm is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under that age. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Data Retention
We keep your game data for as long as you play the Game or until you request its deletion. Purchase and transaction records are retained as required for accounting, tax and fraud-prevention purposes, even after an account is deleted. After you delete your account, your farmer name may briefly remain in an existing friend's list, shown as "unavailable", until it clears. Advertising and technical data held by third parties is retained per their own policies.
Data Deletion
You can delete your account and data at any time:
- In-app — Settings ▸ Account ▸ Delete Account. For registered accounts we email a confirmation code first (so a borrowed or unlocked device can't wipe your account). This permanently erases your account, cloud save, public snapshot, profile, farmer-name claim, and premium-currency wallet.
- Web — manage or delete your account at horizongames.live/account (or /delete-account).
- Email — request deletion at support@horizongames.live; include your farmer name so we can find your data.
Purchase records are retained as described under Data Retention.
Data Security
We use reasonable technical measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
International Data Transfers
Your information may be processed on servers located in the United States (Google Cloud, us-central1) and other countries. By using the Game, you consent to this transfer, storage, and processing.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Game after changes means you accept the updated policy.
